The days of rushing through the parking lot trying to make it to the school building on time are over. In a groundbreaking move, UACHS will now be offering transportation services to all staff members. No more long walks under the scorching sun or pouring rain. Just wave down the shuttle as it loops back around, and voila! 

Operating on a loop schedule, the UACHS shuttle bus picks up teachers from a designated parking lot in the morning from 7 a.m to 8 a.m and drops them off directly at the school’s back entrance. It also transports them back to their vehicles between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. 

This service aims to make their lives easier. UACHS math teacher Freddy Rodriguez shares how he appreciates the convenience and safety of the school shuttle. 

“I got injured last year when I tripped over a piece of metal that broke my arm and tore some rotator cuffs,” said Rodriguez. “I think they did a good job making that investment.” 

 Teachers can now start their day stress free, ensuring they arrive at work refreshed and ready to inspire their students.

However, it does not stop there, this transportation service serves more than just teachers, it also serves as a means to check on the well being of students who have not reported to school for an extended period or those whose parent/guardian cannot be reached. Chemistry students can also use the shuttle to reach NJCU. 

The addition of the shuttle does a great service to both staff and students and should be utilized by all that need it. It is important to take advantage of this incredible opportunity. So make sure to keep an eye out for the shuttles daily rounds.
