Most people only see the surface of a job, this is mainly the visible results. What they do not see is the hard work that goes into it. Each day, small decisions are the ones that keep our building running. Will Vega, our inhouse HVAC certified maintenance person is who makes these decisions.
Whenever an AC, heater, or other repair is required Vega is there to fix it, often before anyone even notices the problem. His work prevents costly breakdowns, protects equipment, saves time, money, and more importantly keeps us all safe. His consistent performance throughout our entire facility allows it to run smoothly every single day.
Around March the school’s heating and cooling system was not working properly. Classrooms were either boiling on hot days and freezing due to the cold weather. Over the course of several days and countless hours, Vega and the rest of the maintenance team fixed the issue and once again made our classrooms comfortable.
His timely response has created a sense of comfort within the school. Maintenance work is not always visible, but it is essential.
People like him make it possible for everyone else to focus on their own responsibilities, without worrying about the building itself. His efforts often go unnoticed yet they have a direct impact on comfortability, productivity, and overall well being.
Behind every working light and every comfortable room there is someone making sure it holds all together. Vega’s dedication reflects the importance of reliability, patience and responsibility in a work environment that depends on teamwork and reliability.
While students and staff may never see the repairs the maintenance team makes, they benefit from their work every single day.
Vega and the maintenance team’s commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment shows how hard work behind the scenes can have a positive effect on an entire community.
