“You are what you eat.”

That statement might be more true than you thought it ought to be. It does not only refer to food, though.

You are what you consume. Think about it like this: when you watch news you consume the facts, when you hang out with your friends you consume their energy, and when you browse through instagram you consume everything you see.

Not everything that we consume is necessarily beneficial for us. Quite frankly, a lot of the things we consume are not beneficial to us which is why we should surround ourselves in an environment reflecting where we want to be.

If you have not yet been exposed to the Law of Attraction, you might want to tune in because to some this is the secret to life. According to thelawofattraction.com, “All thoughts turn into things eventually. If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.”

The more good energy and positivity you put into the world from the goodness of your heart without expecting anything in return, the more blessings and good karma that will come back to you. If you are constantly throwing negative energy into the atmosphere, you will continue to attract bad days. Over… and over… and over, again.

Do you ever wake up, and your day is automatically bad? You get up, stub your toe. Your toast is burnt and sooner or later it is the end of the world, in your world at least. This is you attracting bad things by choosing to be upset about the irrelevant things.

One of the biggest secrets to this secret is…. *drumroll* GRATITUDE. When you are grateful for all the things you physically or mentally possess rather than complaining about things you are lacking, you will see the universe work in extraordinary ways for you.

Another key to the law of attraction is living as if you are already where you want to be. For example, if you are anticipating becoming a millionaire, then study millionaires; walk, talk and think like a millionaire but most importantly have the gratitude of being able to become a millionaire. Claim things as if they are already yours and feel that gratitude now.

This goes hand in hand with the concept of want vs. have. Let us use money with this concept. When you are constantly saying that you want money, you are putting the LACK of money to your name into the universe, and you will consequently continue to receive that lack. Nevertheless, if you move as if you are already wealthy and put your gratitude for your blessing into the universe, you will continue to receive those blessings. What you are doing is preparing your subconscious mind for what you want.

Additionally, visualization can be a great manifestation technique for magnetizing what you want from the universe. Create a vision of what/who you want to be and live into that image: see yourself there.

What can you do with this information, especially during the abnormal times we are living in? What you can do is use the law of attraction to not only magnetize all your desires from the universe, but also attract an amazing school year. You can attract good grades with good intentions.

You have to create a plan to place you in the position of success. For example, you cannot say “I am so happy and grateful for straight A’s and a 4.o GPA,” when your actions do not follow up as you are not studying, keeping up with your work, etc. When following through with your plan, you will see everything fall into place.

Do not let what you see with your eyes control what you see in your mind. Vision over sight.

Your life is a reflection of your perspective. Perspective is everything.

Bob Marley once said “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.”
