Avengers: Endgame

It all began in 2008 with the release of Iron Man. The world fell in love with the Marvel hero and from there, bloomed the epic saga which includes twenty one interconnected superhero films. The twenty second and last film of the saga, Avengers: Endgame, can only be described as the perfect finale and one of the most successful films ever created.

Avengers: Endgame takes place after the devastating ending of Avengers: Infinity War, where the powerful villain Thanos (Josh Brolin) manages to to locate, capture, and use the universe’s most potent source of power, the six infinity stones, in order to wipe out half of humanity including many of our beloved superheroes. This leaves our treasured remaining heroes feeling hopeless, angry, and in mourning. This inspires them to take one more shot to not only defeat Thanos but to restore humanity.  

The film will take you on one of the most thrilling emotional rollercoasters of your life. One minute you will be laughing till you fall from your seat and at the next you will be on the verge of tears. The film also manages to have the perfect trifecta of humor, drama and action.

The films tremendous cast of actors also added to the success of the film with their original take on beloved characters and the addition of new-comer Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).

It comes to no surprise that the film managed to break numerous box office records worldwide. The motion picture became the second highest-grossing film in only a short span of two weeks with a profit of $2.188 billion globally. According to buzzfeednews.com, it took twenty one years for a second movie, after Avatar, to surpass Titanic’s global box office record.

This must watch film will not leave you disappointed, especially for the fans of the saga. Whether you have watched all the films or just one, I’m sure that any moviegoer will appreciate the artistry that went into the movie and will probably even be inclined to watch the rest of the incredible saga.
